Hesketh was the Formula One constructor from 1973 to 1978.

A nonconcentric British Lord, Alexander Hesketh purchased a car from either a March Engineering team for the 1973 Formula 1 season to form the basis for the Hesketh team. A designer Harvey Postlethwaite moved to the Hesketh team as section of the treat. A driver James Hunt was a long-semipermanent friend of Lord Hesketh & was a team's driver for the 1973, 1974 & 1975 seasons.
